Construction Meeting #64 Agenda - 01/15/15

Sector A (Meeting Rooms)
– Beauty cap install on the exterior upper meeting room glazing is complete. Marlin is currently finishing up the glass railing at the overlook. Remaining glass and rail will be on site for installation Monday. Stainless steel base and elevator enclosure is being installed on elevator 2 today. Glazing around elevator 1 will start showing up for installation tomorrow and Monday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Garco is finishing up the grouting of the centennial stair which should be complete by the end of the week. Light fixtures, speakers and fire alarm trims are being completed in the ballroom Prefunction and lobby ceilings. PCI's install of the Acoustical Wood Paneling outside the Ballroom is ongoing. This will be completed by the end of next week. The operable walls in the ballroom have been installed and are currently being adjusted. Kone's install of Escalator & Elevator 1 are ongoing. Inspection for escalator will be next Wednesday and elevator inspection will be Thursday. Dan Silver is currently installing the Mecho-Shades in the Ex Hall. The shades will all be hung today, and fully motorized by the end of next week. Install of the Swisspearl panels in the Ballroom is ongoing. This will be complete the first part of next week. Carpet in the Prefunction and lobby is almost finished up in the ballroom area. Ballroom carpet will begin tomorrow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is nearly completed. Inspection will be Jan 20. Start-up of the exhaust units in the back of house area has been delayed while Energized re-locates VFD panels off of the DOT wall per PFD request. The handrail for the DOT stair has been installed. Cutout has been made and lighting will be finished up soon. Garco is working on sealing and caulking the floor in the back of house area. Stair 151 CMU was waterproofed yesterday.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Ceiling grid and tile has been installed. Flooring is being installed today in A and tomorrow and Monday in B. Sinks will go in next week and we are awaiting word on when the dishwasher and other sinks will be here from Centerplate. Tile in the riverside womens restroom will be complete tomorrow with grout. Bathroom fixtures are being installed. Toilet partitions, bath accessories and mirrors will be installed next week. New carpet install in the existing Promenade was completed last Friday.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms)
– The remaining portion of the Prefunction Lobby Ceiling has been painted. Carpet is complete around the Prefunction Lobby. The remaining walk-off mat in the vestibule has also been installed. Beauty cap install is ongoing along the Upper Meeting Rooms glass. There are just a few pieces left to install. This will be completed today. Marlin is currently working on the glass railing for the Overlook area. This glass has been ordered. More has been delivered to the site and will be installed today. Stainless steel base install along the outside of the Lower Meeting Rooms is ongoing. Just a portion of the Prefunction Lobby remains to be installed.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Structural caulking of the vertical mullions on the Overlook glazing is complete. A few glass panels, along the bottom North face of the Overlook, will be changed out due to the difference in color. Carpet install is complete in the Riverside Hall. There is just a little carpet left to be installed in the Overlook. This remaining portion will be completed today. Garco's install of the Terrazzo Stairs for the Centennial & Overlook Stairway is complete. Just grouting for the treads of all stairs needs to be completed. Glazing at the radius wall is ongoing. There are a few pieces left to be installed. PCI has completed taping the Ballroom Prefunction Lobby Ceiling. Painting of the ceiling is also complete. PCI's install of the Acoustical Wood Paneling outside the Ballroom is ongoing. This will be completed by the end of next week. Install of the Linear Metal Ceiling in the Ballroom is ongoing. This will be completed once the operable walls are installed. These will be started on Monday. Kone's install of Escalator & Elevator 1 are ongoing. Dan Silver is currently installing the Mecho-Shades in the Ex Hall. The shades will all be hung today, and fully motorized by the end of next week. Install of the Wheatboard panels in the Riverside Hall is ongoing. This will be complete by Monday. Install of the Swisspearl panels in the Ballroom has begun today. This will last a couple weeks.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is nearly completed. Install of the guardrail along the Loading Dock is ongoing. This will be finished today. The handrails for the DOT stairs are onsite. This will be completed soon. Install of the Louvers along the Mezzanine level is ongoing. This will be completed today.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Electrical & Mechanical rough-in in the ceiling in B is ongoing. PCI has completed install of the ceiling grids in both. FRP has also been installed in each room. Wall and floor tile install in the new Riverside Women's Restroom is ongoing. Tile install will be complete Monday, and grouting will be complete by Tuesday. Cobra's trim on the upper portion of the metal panels on the outside of the Upper Meeting Rooms is ongoing pending approval. The stainless steel caps for the pony walls in the promenade have been installed. Stainless Steel Base install also has been completed. New carpet install in the existing Promenade is ongoing. This will be completed by Monday.

Site Work/Utilities
– The last portion of the pedestrian link was poured yesterday.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – The remaining portion of the Prefunction Lobby Ceiling will be painted next week. Carpet is complete around the Prefunction Lobby. The remaining walk-off mat in the vestibule should be installed by the end of the week. Beauty cap install is ongoing along the Upper Meeting Rooms glass. There are just a few pieces left to install. This will take place next week. Krueger is complete with insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. These do not call for a sealant. Marlin's glass rail is installed & lighted along the terrace roof. They are currently working on the glass railing for the overlook. This glass has been ordered. Stainless steel base install along the outside of the Lower Meeting Rooms is ongoing. Waterproofing and fill of soil for the planters along the green roof and Riverside steps has been completed.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Structural caulking of the vertical mullions on the Overlook glazing is nearly complete. This will be complete by tomorrow. Carpet install is ongoing in the Riverside Hall. This should be complete by the end of the day. Garco's install of the Terrazzo Stairs for the Centennial Stairway is nearly complete. Just the landing and a couple treads is left to be installed today. This will be followed by the Overlook Stairway. Glazing at the radius wall is ongoing. There are a few pieces left to be installed. The new Ex Hall operable wall was painted last week. PCI is taping the Ballroom Prefunction Lobby Ceiling. This should be complete by the end of the week. Painting to follow. PCI's install of the Acoustical Wood Paneling outside the Ballroom is ongoing. As painting of the ceiling moves along, PCI will follow behind with their install. Install of the Linear Metal Ceiling in the Ballroom is ongoing. Once the light bar mounts are installed this will be completed. Light bar mounts will be installed today. Kone's install of Escalator & Elevator 1 are ongoing.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is nearly completed. Install of the guardrail along the Loading Dock is ongoing. The remaining sleeves for the guardrail will be onsite today so this can be completed. The handrails for the DOT stairs are in fabrication. These will be delivered to the site on Friday.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Drywall & taping is completed in A & B. Electrical & Mechanical rough-in in the ceiling in B is ongoing. Waiting on the dishwasher information. PCI will begin install of the ceiling grids tomorrow. Drywall & taping install has been completed in the new Riverside Women's Restroom. Painting is also complete. Wall and floor tile install to begin tomorrow or Friday. Cobra's trim on the upper portion of the metal panels on the outside of the Upper Meeting Rooms is ongoing pending approval. Stainless Steel Base install is also ongoing.

Site Work/Utilities

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Painting has been completed up to the escalators in the Prefunction Lobby. Carpet is nearly complete around the Prefunction Lobby. Beauty cap install is ongoing along the Upper Meeting Rooms glass. There are just a few pieces left to install. Escalator #2 install is complete. Inspection for this will be tomorrow. Krueger is complete with insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. Marlin's glass rail is installed along the terrace roof. They are working on installing the electrical for the railing today. PCI has finished installing the wood wall paneling along the outside of the Lower Meeting Rooms. Stainless steel base install is ongoing. Waterproofing the planters along the green roof and Riverside steps has been completed. Soil & fill for all the planters is ongoing.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Structural caulking of the vertical mullions on the Overlook glazing is ongoing. Carpet install is ongoing in the Riverside Hall. Garco's install of the Terrazzo Stairs is complete on the Meeting Room Stairway. These just need to be caulked. The Centennial Stairway is nearly complete. Just the landing is left to be installed. This will be followed by the Overlook Stairway. Glazing at the radius wall is ongoing. The new Ex Hall operable wall is being painted today. Glass handrail and railing install is ongoing in the Overlook. PCI is taping the Ballroom Prefunction Lobby Ceiling. Painting to follow. Doors for the Ballroom have been hung. PCI's install of the Acoustical Wood Paneling outside the Ballroom is ongoing.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Walls have been painted in the security office. Countertops to follow. Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is nearly completed. Install of the guardrail along the Loading Dock is ongoing.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Drywall & taping is completed in A & B. Electrical rough-in in the ceiling in B is ongoing. Drywall & taping install has been completed in the new Riverside Women's Restroom. Painting to follow. Cobra is finished installing the Metal Panel 2 on the outside of the Upper Meeting Rooms. Trim on the upper portion of the panels just needs to be installed. Stainless Steel Base install is also ongoing.

Site Work/Utilities
– Another portion of the pedestrian link is being poured today. The ballroom patios were poured earlier this week. Irrigation mains and topsoil is progressing down the centennial trail to the west. They are currently finished up to the Meeting Rooms.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – The Prefunction area ceiling hard lid is taped. Painting has been completed up to the escalators. Carpet has been placed in the Lower Meeting Rooms. Carpet install is also completed in the Upper Meeting Rooms. Carpet for the promenade is nearly complete. Window Shades install is complete in the Upper Meeting Rooms. Countertop, toilets, and sink install is finished in the bathrooms. Toilet partitions have been installed. Beauty cap install is ongoing along the Upper Meeting Rooms glass. There are just a few pieces left to install. Escalator #2 install is complete. The pour for the sidewalks and patios on the West end were completed Tuesday. Krueger is installing insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. Marlin's glass rail is installed along the terrace roof. PCI has finished installing the wood wall paneling along the outside of the Lower Meeting Rooms. Carpet install in the Prefunction area is ongoing moving from West to East. Waterproofing the planters along the green roof and Riverside steps has been completed.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Taping and painting of the Riverside Hall walls occurred Saturday. Glazing install along the Overlook is complete. Structural caulking of the vertical mullions is ongoing. The new exhibit hall topping slab is complete and sealed. Carpet install is ongoing in the Riverside Hall.Garco's install of the Terrazzo Stairs is ongoing on the Meeting Room Stairway. The landing has to be placed, followed by the Overlook Stairway. Glazing at the radius wall is ongoing.

Site Work/Utilities
– The first 2 pours for the pedestrian link under the Riverside Overlook took place this week. The remainder will be poured next week along with the ballroom patio (weather dependent) Irrigation mains and topsoil is progressing down the centennial trail to the west.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling Tile is complete in both the Upper & Lower Meeting Rooms. The Prefunction area ceiling hard lid is installed and taped. Painting has been completed up to the escalators. The remaining painting will occur on Monday. Carpet has been placed in the Lower Meeting Rooms. Carpet install is ongoing in the Upper Meeting Rooms. Carpet for the promenade will begin Saturday. Window Shades install is ongoing in the Upper Meeting Rooms. Countertop, toilets, and sink install is finished in the bathrooms. Toilet partitions have been installed. Beauty cap install is ongoing along the Upper Meeting Rooms glass. Coping cap will follow. Escalator #2 install is complete. Inspection will occur next Wednesday. Stone Creek has completed the trench drain at base of Riverside Steps. The pour for the sidewalk over the drain will be next week. Krueger is installing insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. Marlin's glass rail is being installed along the terrace roof. PCI is currently installing the wood wall paneling along the outside of the Lower Meeting Rooms. This will be complete by mid next week. Carpet install in the prefunction area will begin Monday and move from West to East.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Spilker's construction of the new operable wall pocket is complete. Drywall and taping have also been completed above the CMU. Painting to follow. Sheetrock installation is ongoing on the Riverside Hall walls. Framing for the soffits is complete and taping is ongoing. Painting to occur on Saturday. Trims for mechanical and electrical devices have been installed in the Lower Overlook. Scaffolding was removed this week. Glazing install along the Overlook is nearly complete. The remaining glass will be installed Saturday. Structural caulking of the vertical mullions is starting today. The isolation membrane for the new exhibit hall topping slab is complete. The topping slab pour was completed yesterday. Carpet install is ongoing in the Riverside Hall. Remaining carpet for this area will begin Tuesday. Garco's install of the Terrazzo Stairs will begin today on the Meeting Room Stairway. Glazing at the radius wall is ongoing.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – eiling grid has been installed in the security office and electrical rough-in is ongoing. Ceiling tile to follow. Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is ongoing. Final inspection will take place 12-19. Install of the guardrail along the Loading Dock is ongoing.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Stud framing is complete. Drywall & taping will be completed today in A. Plumbing rough-in in the wall in B is ongoing. Wall framing has been installed in the new Riverside Women's Restroom; ceiling framing is finished. Electrical rough-in is ongoing in the ceiling. Plumbing rough-in is complete. Drywall install will begin on Saturday. Finish drywall & tape are complete on the South wall of the Promenade, and painting of the South wall is ongoing.

– Land Expressions is finished with landscaping along the Division Street Hill climb. Hydro-seeding occurred last week. Grading for the pedestrian link and the patio areas outside the ballroom and meeting rooms is ongoing. Pour for these areas will be on December 8th.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling Tile is ongoing in the Upper Meeting Rooms, and complete in the Lower Meeting Rooms. The Prefunction area ceiling hard lid is installed and taped. Painting has been completed up to the escalators. Operable walls have been installed in upper and lower meeting rooms. Caruso Floors tile installation is complete in the bathrooms. Wall tiles have been grouted. Floor tile grout is also complete. Countertop, toilets, and sink install is finished. Toilet partitions install will follow next week. Glazing for the upper level meeting rooms is complete. Door install occurred Tuesday. Beauty cap install is ongoing. Elevator #2 install is complete. Energized's work in this area is done. Escalator #2 install is ongoing. Glass rail install has been completed. Garco has completed the risers and planter walls at the Riverside steps. Trench drain at base of stairs is complete. The pour for the sidewalk over the drain will be next week. Install of the remaining precast panels is ongoing. Garco has a few pieces left on the North side of the Riverside steps. Krueger is installing insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. Drywall has been completed for the West Boardroom. Taping is completed. Painting to follow. Seat walls along the Lower Meeting Rooms are finished.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The glazing at the exhibition hall has been installed. The beauty caps have also been completed. Spilker's construction of the new operable wall pocket is nearly complete. The remaining top portion to cover the rail is all that remains. Sheetrock installation is ongoing on the Riverside Hall walls. Demo of the temporary walls is complete. Finish the framing for the soffits is ongoing and will finish tomorrow. Painting has been completed in the Lower Overlook. Trims for mechanical and electrical devices will be installed today. Scaffold will be removed Dec. 8-12. Glazing install along the Overlook is nearly complete. The few remaining pieces to be installed next Tuesday. Structural caulking to follow this. Cobra completed the insulated panels on the West end wall. The isolation membrane for the new exhibit hall topping slab is ongoing. The pour for the topping slab is scheduled for the 8th through the 12th. Carpet install is ongoing in the Riverside Hall.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Security office walls have been sheeted, taped, & painted. Ceiling to follow. Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is ongoing. DOT stairs were poured today. Guardrail along the Loading Dock will begin installation today.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Stud framing is complete. Drywall has been installed in A. Garco is working with Centerplate to coordinate locations for equipment. Wall framing has been installed in the new Riverside Women's Restroom; ceiling framing to follow. Electrical rough-in to follow in the ceiling. Plumbing rough-in is ongoing. Wall electrical rough-in has been completed. Install of the new Promenade windows has been completed. Finish drywall, tape, and paint of the South wall to follow next week. Garco is currently in the Exhibit Hall finishing up the demo the existing wall. Column pours, for the new Ex Hall, will occur tomorrow.

Garco is currently in the Exhibit Hall to demo the existing wall.

Site Work/Utilities
– Land Expressions is on hold with landscaping along the Division Street Hill climb until the weather warms up. Paving for the new round-about area occurred last Tuesday and Wednesday. Grading for the pedestrian link and the fire lane area (west end of site) are ongoing. Paving for these areas will occur next week.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling rough in for lighting in the lower level meeting rooms is complete. Low voltage rough-in is complete in the Lower Meeting Rooms, and ongoing in the Upper Meeting Rooms. This will be complete by tomorrow. Ceiling grid for the Upper Meeting Rooms is complete. The Prefunction area rough-in, grid system, and hard lid have all been installed. Taping for this area will be complete by Wednesday. Caruso Floors tile installation is ongoing in the bathrooms. Wall tiles have been grouted. Floor tile grout is nearly complete. Countertop install is ongoing. Toilet partitions install will follow the countertops. Glazing for the upper level meeting rooms is ongoing. The remaining spandrel panels are being installed in this area now and glass install is following right behind. This will be completed by Saturday. Elevator #2 install is complete. Energized's work in this area is ongoing. Escalator #2 install is ongoing. Glass rail install is ongoing as well. Garco poured 3 more risers and planter walls at the Riverside steps. There is 1 more riser that needs to be poured to complete this area. This work is scheduled to be completed by tomorrow. The remaining precast panels for the Sector A were delivered yesterday. Install will begin tomorrow. Garco will start at the DoubleTree loading dock area and move North towards the steps for the remaining pieces. Krueger is installing insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. The fireplace at the West Boardroom has been roughed in. Drywall has been completed for this room. Taping will start next week and finish by the end of the week. Seat walls along the Lower Meeting Rooms are currently being formed. Pour for the first section of wall will occur Tuesday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The spandrel panels for the upper glazing at the exhibition hall have been installed. The glazing for the panels is nearly complete. There is one upper glass panel left. PCI's framing for the soffit areas in the Riverside Hall is complete. Sheetrock installation has been completed on the walls. Drywall/Plywood in the ceiling is ongoing. Drywall install will be done on Saturday. Taping will begin at the end of next week. Apollo has completed the ductwork for the Lower Overlook and insulation is installed. PCI's framing for the soffit is complete. Energized's installation of wire and can lights is complete. Lighting in the Riverside Hall is ongoing, and the soffit areas will be complete by Saturday. Glazing install along the Overlook is ongoing and is expected to finish on Monday. Cobra is complete with the metal panels along the East Ex Hall wall. They are finishing up with flashings and the coping cap. They will move to the West wall next week. Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Mechanical/Electrical rough-in for the security office is complete. These walls have been sheeted, and taping is ongoing. Taping will be complete by tomorrow. Painting will be completed by mid next week. Kone's work on the Freight Elevator is ongoing. This will last approximately a month.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Stud framing is complete. Energized's rough-in is complete in A; rough-in for B is ongoing. Floor demolition in the new bathroom at the riverside hall is complete. Wall framing has been installed; ceiling framing to follow. Electrical is done in the ceiling. Plumbing rough-in is ongoing. Wall rough-in will be complete by next week. Scaffolding for the new windows for the Promenade has been installed. Further demo & install for the windows to follow. The North wall along the Promenade is complete with sheetrock, taping, and painting. The South wall to follow the new window demo. Garco will be back in the Exhibit Hall to begin demo of the existing wall on Monday.

Site Work/Utilities
– Land Expressions is on hold with landscaping along the Division Street Hill climb until the weather warms up. Paving for the new round-about area occurred Tuesday and Wednesday. Rough grading for the pedestrian link and fire lane area (west end of site) are ongoing.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling rough in for lighting in the lower level meeting rooms is complete. Low voltage rough-in is ongoing in both the Upper & Lower Meeting Rooms. These will be complete by the end of next week. Ceiling grid for the Upper Meeting Rooms will be done tomorrow. The Prefunction area rough-in, grid system, and hard lid have all been installed. Taping for this area is ongoing. Caruso Floors tile installation is ongoing in the bathrooms. Both wall and floor tiles have been placed. Wall tiles have been grouted and floor tile grout is ongoing. Countertop install will begin next week. Glazing for the upper level meeting rooms was partially installed. The remaining spandrel panels are being installed in this area now and glass install is following right behind. Elevator #2 install will be complete Monday. PCI & Energized work to follow. Escalator #2 install is ongoing. Glass rail install will begin today. Garco poured 3 more risers and planter walls at the Riverside steps. There are 4 more risers that need to be poured to complete this area. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the month. The remaining precast panels for the Sector A will be on site on Wednesday. Install to follow. Krueger is installing insulation and pavers along terrace portion of the green roof. The fireplace at the West Boardroom has been roughed in. Sheetrock will be complete today.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The spandrel panels for the upper glazing at the exhibition hall are being cut and installed. The glazing for the panels is following right behind. This work will be completed on Saturday. PCI's framing for the soffit areas in the Riverside Hall will be complete Monday. Sheetrock installation has been completed on the walls. Apollo has completed the ductwork for the Lower Overlook and insulation is installed. PCI's framing for the soffit is complete. Energized is currently pulling wire and installing can lights now. Energized will be done with this by Wednesday. Framing for the curtain walls along the Overlook is complete. Glazing for this area is on site. Glazing install will begin tomorrow and is expected to take 1 week. Patio walls along the North side of the ballroom are complete. Today trailers will be moved, so that work to form the seat walls in front of the meeting rooms can begin. Cobra is complete with the metal panels along the East Ex Hall wall. They are finishing up with flashings and the coping cap. Curtain Wall Framing has been installed along the Ballroom Lobby. Elevator #1 install will begin on Tuesday.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Mechanical/Electrical rough-in for the security office is complete. These walls have been sheeted, and taping is ongoing. Taping and painting will be complete by the end of next week. The windows for the security office also have been installed. Kone has begun work on the Freight Elevator. This will last approximately a month.

Finish grading for the asphalt paving at the new has started today. Grading will be complete by Monday and we will be on the schedule for paving starting Tuesday morning. Paving schedule is tentative. Four more benches have been placed on site. Pour for these will occur tomorrow.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The spandrel panels for the upper glazing at the exhibition hall are being cut and installed. The glazing for the panels will follow. PCI's framing for the soffit areas in the Riverside Overlook is nearly complete. Sheetrock installation is ongoing. Scaffolding for the Lower Riverside Overlook is complete. Apollo has completed the ductwork for this area and insulation is being installed. PCI is hanging wires to begin framing the soffit this weekend. Framing for the curtain walls along the Overlook is complete. Glazing Deliveries for this area will be next week. Patio walls along the North side of the ballroom are complete. Cobra is currently installing the metal panels along the East Ex Hall wall. This will be complete by tomorrow afternoon. Curtain Wall Framing has been installed along the Ballroom Lobby.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Wall fur out has been completed in the security office. Mechanical/Electrical rough-in is ongoing. Structural steel for the Division Street Stair has been installed. Decking is also complete. Forming for the stairs and concrete pour will occur next week.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Plumbing has cored through the slab for their floor drains. Stud framing is ongoing. The box for the freezer has been installed. The layout for the compressor is TBD. Josh to get with Centerplate rep to confirm placement. Floor demolition in the new bathroom at the riverside hall is complete. Electrical and plumbing rough in will begin next week. New windows for the Promenade have been made. Further demo for the windows to follow. The walls along the Promenade are complete with sheetrock and tape. Garco will be back in the Exhibit Hall for structural upgrades on the existing wall on Monday and Tuesday.

The work for the new round-about and double tree loading dock is ongoing. Grading for the curbing has been completed. Pour for the curbing has been completed. Paving will follow.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling rough in for electrical is almost finished in the lower level meeting room pre-function area. Rough-in for the Wayfinding monitors will be complete this week. Hard lid install to follow. Caruso Floors has begun tile installation. This will last through the end of next week. Glazing for the upper level meeting rooms was partially installed. The remaining framing has been installed in this area now and glass install is next. Elevator #2 install is ongoing. This will last through the end of the week. Elevator 1 install will follow. Garco poured the risers, 3 planter walls and the stair landings at the Riverside steps. Land Expressions is currently working on the irrigation. Precast panels for Sector A are almost complete. There are just a few panels left to finish off this area. The last panels will be installed at the end of next week. Cobra completed their installation of the coping cap for the expansion joints at the existing ex hall roof and Sector B and A. Expansion joints for these areas have also been installed.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Glazing at the Ex Hall has been delivered. Install of the 1st & 2nd row of glass is complete. Fire control has completed the fire sprinklers for the dry system in the new breezeway ceiling. Dupree has installed the Ex Hall operable wall. PCI's framing for this is finished on the East side. Sheetrock is currently being installed along the East side as well. Scaffolding for the Upper and Lower Riverside Overlook is being installed. This will be complete by tomorrow. PCI is currently installing sheetrock along the Upper Riverside Overlook ceiling. Finish paint on the Riverside Overlook columns is complete. Framing for the curtain walls is ongoing, moving around to the West. This will be complete by the beginning of next week. Escalator #1 install is complete. Escalator #2 install has begun as well. Patio walls along the North side of the ballroom are currently being formed. The 3rd section of wall was poured. The 4th section is being formed, along with the far East wall. Soil for the Ex Hall Green Roof will be placed at the end of November using the telebelt. Cobra is currently installing the metal panels along the East Ex Hall wall.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Wall fur out and Mechanical/Electrical rough-in is ongoing in the security office. The new security office window will be installed at the end of the week. The freight elevator was delivered. Install begun on Monday. The Division Street Stairs were poured. Structural steel for the stair will be installed by tomorrow. Decking to follow.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's reconstruction in Concession areas A & B is ongoing. Plumbing has cored through the slab for their floor drains. Centennial Trail Paving took place last Friday for the West end by the INB and tomorrow for the portion between King Cole Bridge and Division St. The trail will be closed for this work to be completed. It will be open by Saturday morning. The work for the new round-about and double tree loading dock is ongoing. Grading for the curbing has been completed. Pour for the curb will be placed today. Energized Electric has installed their light bases on the Division St. hill climb. Garco has graded for the sidewalk that will be poured. Landscape will follow. Centennial Trail Paving will take place tomorrow for the West end by the INB and next Friday for the portion between King Cole Bridge and Division St. The trail will be closed next week between Tuesday and Friday for this work to take place. It will be open by Saturday morning the 25th. The work for the new round-about and double tree loading dock is ongoing. Grading and curbing will take place within the next week and a half. Paving will follow.

Cobra completed their installation of the coping cap for the expansion joints at the existing ex hall roof and Sector B. Escalator #1 install should be complete next week. When Escalator #1 is complete Escalator #2 install will begin. Krueger completed the waterproofing for the Sector C green roof, as well as the water test. Patio walls along the North side of the ballroom are currently being formed. The first section of wall was poured yesterday.

Stone Creek has completed installing catch basins, and the oil water separator is being installed right now at the Double Tree Loading Dock area. They now are tied into their system on the Far East end. Asphalt seal coating took place last Friday & Saturday, as well as the striping. Energized Electric has installed their light bases on the Division St. hill climb. Garco is grading for the sidewalk that will be poured next week. Landscape will follow.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling rough in for electrical/mechanical trades is almost finished in the lower level meeting room pre-function area. Finish painting is almost complete in the lower level meeting rooms. PCI has begun installing ceiling grid in the rooms that have been painted. Glazing for the upper level meeting rooms was partially installed last Saturday. The remaining framing is being installed in this area now. Elevator #2 install has begun. This will last through the end of the month. Elevator 1 install will follow. The 2nd planter box was poured last week along with the shotcrete of the structural slab at the North stair. Also, the curb/walls alongside the Riverside stairs were poured yesterday. Precast panels for Sector A will be arriving October 13th. These will begin to be installed next Monday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – HVAC plenums have been completed in the ballroom. Paint for the ceiling has been completed. Glazing at the Ex Hall will partially be delivered tomorrow. Roofing for the Riverside Overlook is complete. Fireproofing for this roof is ongoing and will be completed by tomorrow. Intumescent painting is ongoing on the tube steel and will also be completed tomorrow. Finish paint on the columns will follow next week when the intumescent paint has cured. Cobra completed their installation of the coping cap for the expansion joints at the existing ex hall roof. Cobra is working on installing copings on the Sector B roof. Escalator install is ongoing. When Escalator #1 is complete Escalator #2 install will begin. Krueger will have the waterproofing, for the Sector C green roof, complete by tomorrow. Water test to be done next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Decking on the security office has been completed. Roofing and flashing is also complete. Wall fur out and Mechanical/Electrical rough in will begin next week. The freight elevator is scheduled to be delivered to the site in the middle of October. Garco is forming up the Division Street Stairs right now. Wall will pour tomorrow. Steel and stair install will follow this.

Site Work/Utilities
– The handrails for the trail overlooks are complete. There are a few areas that need to be touched up. Stone Creek has completed installing catch basins, as well as the oil water separator at the Double Tree Loading Dock area. They have finished installing storm and sewer drainage underneath the Riverside Overlook in Sector B, and now are moving East to finish up and tie into their system on the far east end. Land Expressions will be on site October 6th to begin installing irrigation and topsoil on the East end of the site (Division St. Hill climb).

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Ceiling rough in for electrical/mechanical trades is almost finished in the lower level meeting rooms. Close-up of the interior meeting room walls is complete. Priming and finish paint in these has begun. Glazing is ongoing on the lower level meeting rooms. There are only a few panels left to be installed. Glass for the upper level will be arriving October 3rd. Wall framing is ongoing in the upper meeting rooms right now. Sheet rock has been stocked and will start being hung today. Escalators #2 has been lifted and set in place. Further installation of the escalator is ongoing. One of the planter boxes on the west end has been poured. The 2nd planter box will be poured today along with the shotcrete of the structural slab at the North stair.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – HVAC plenums will be complete tomorrow in the ballroom. Paint for the ceiling will begin Monday. Glazing is nearly finished along the North side of the ballroom. There are only a few pieces of glass to be put in after work around that area is finished. Roofing for the Riverside Overlook is complete. Fireproofing for underneath this roof is ongoing and will be completed by October 10th, whereas fireproofing underneath the overlook will be completed by October 3rd. Cobra completed their installation of the coping cap for the expansion joints. The expansion joint are being installed now. Precast installation is complete on the North and West side of the green roof. Escalators #1 has been lifted and set in place. Further installation of the escalator is ongoing.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fill for the buttress walls started being brought on site a few weeks ago. The ground level has been filled with all necessary fill. Green roof materials will be placed next followed by the fill to the mezzanine level. Decking on the security office has been completed. Roofing and flashing is ongoing. The freight elevator is scheduled to be delivered to the site in the middle of October.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's demo in Concession area A & B is ongoing. Sheeting and taping for the pony walls is ongoing. Drywall is going up for the North walls. Ductwork and fire sprinklers are next for installation. PCI will be complete with framing steel stud walls along the promenade this week. PCI has finished placing insulation and plywood on the ceiling and is finishing up sheet rock and taping in this area. Fire sprinkler install has begun as well. Glazing is ongoing along the North side of the ballroom. This should be completed by this Saturday. PCI has completed framing the parapets. Roofing for the Riverside Overlook has begun and will be completed by next Friday. Fireproofing for underneath this roof will be completed by October 3rd. Precast installation has begun today at the South East end of the building. Install will progress to the North and back down to the West.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fireproofing has been completed on the mezzanine level and all columns wraps have been poured. Waterproofing on mezzanine area has begun today and will be complete tomorrow. Fill for the buttress walls started being brought on site last week. This will continue through the end of the week. Garco has completed grading and cutting asphalt in the parking garage. Both portions of the parking garage slab have been poured. Decking on the security office has been completed. Roofing and flashing will be installed next.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Garco's demo in Concession area A & B is ongoing. Masonry infill has been completed. Garco cut out the openings for the overhead doors yesterday. Walk-In freezer has been delivered for the concession area. PCI finished framing permanent wall along the promenade. They also finished with the 2 hour fire wall drywall. Also, PCI will be complete with framing steel stud walls along this area middle of next week. Garco has begun installing expansion joints along the floor of the promenade area.

Site Work/Utilities
– The handrails for the trail overlooks are in fabrication now. They will bring down each handrail set as each landing is completed. This should be completed 9-22-14. Stone Creek has nearly completed the storm water utility work in Sector A. After, they will move east towards Sector D and then move to complete the North side of Sector C.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Wall framing and ceiling rough in for electrical/mechanical trades is ongoing in the lower level meeting rooms. Close-up of the walls is ongoing. Curtain wall framing has been installed along the North side of the meeting rooms. Glass will be arriving today. Curtain wall framing for the upper level is almost completely installed. Wall framing is ongoing in the upper meeting rooms right now. Delivery of Escalator #2 occurred yesterday and will continue today and Monday with two trucks per day.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Electrical conduits and wire have been pulled in the ballroom ceiling. PCI is currently placing insulation and plywood on the ceiling along with sheet rocking and taping. Glass will begin showing up for the custom truss around the 23rd of September. Glass has begun installation along the North side of the ballroom. This should be completed by this Saturday. Structural steel is finished being installed along all ends of the overlook. Decking for the remainder of the roof is nearly complete.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fireproofing has been completed on the mezzanine level and more columns wraps will be poured today. Waterproofing on the buttress wall has been completed. The railings on Stair 151 have been installed. Fill for the buttress walls started being brought on site Tuesday. This will continue through next week. Garco has completed grading and cutting asphalt in the parking garage. This will be poured today.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Paint for the main ductwork at the East end of the Ex Hall will begin shortly. Garco's demo in Concession area A & B is ongoing. Masonry infill has been completed. PCI finished framing permanent wall along the promenade. They are nearly finished with the 2 hour fire wall drywall. Also, PCI is almost complete with framing steel stud walls along this area. Garco has some more demo work in here for PCI & Energized Electric.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fire riser has been installed in the mechanical room. Remaining slab pour was completed last Monday at the West Boardroom. Framing is nearly complete for this area. Asphalt waterproofing membrane for the mezzanine deck was finished, and the topping slab was poured today. Fireproofing and columns wraps just remain on this level. Stair 151 stairs have been installed. The railings have been delivered, but need to be painted and installed. Fill for the buttress walls will begin to be brought on site next Tuesday. Garco is currently grading and cutting asphalt in the parking garage. This should be complete in a couple weeks.

The overhead coiling door was removed last Monday, and masonry infill is taking place. Slab pour was completed yesterday for the promenade area. The glazing and curtain wall have been removed, and PCI finished framing permanent wall along this area. PCI will begin framing steel stud walls on Monday. The temporary access through the promenade will be ready by Monday as well.

– Land Expressions finished planting the remaining plants at the Admin area on the west end of the site and also finished the planter at Washington Street. The handrails for the trail overlooks are in fabrication now. They will bring down each handrail set as each landing is completed. This should be completed 9-22-14. Stone Creek has continued the storm water utility work in the back of house area in Sector D/C. They have moved from East to West and have completed the work around the radius footing wall and stair 323. They are currently installing the fire and FDC lines at the east end of Sector C. Inland Asphalt sent over a quote for the repairs of the centennial trail. This is being reviewed to decide which option to move forward with. Benches will be delivered to the site today.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Wall framing and ceiling rough in for electrical/mechanical trades is ongoing in the lower level meeting rooms. The framing, electrical, and plumbing inspection have been completed, and close-up of the walls began yesterday. Curtain wall framing has been installed along the North side of the meeting rooms. Glass will be arriving on September 11th. Wall framing is ongoing in the upper meeting rooms right now. Structural steel columns have been installed along the West & North end of the overlook. Structural steel will be completed after the stairs and escalators have been installed in this area.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Electrical conduits and wire are being pulled in the ballroom ceiling. PCI is currently placing insulation and plywood on the ceiling. The track for the operable walls has been completed in all areas except for the Exhibit Hall. Structural supports for the track are being installed this week. Curtain wall framing on the custom truss is complete. Glass will begin showing up around the 3rd week of September. Slab pour for the upper overlook riverside area was poured. The lower level overlook was also poured on Monday. The radius footing wall was formed and also poured. Grading has been completed around the footing to allow for the last concrete pour for the ballroom next Tuesday. Fireproofing is complete on the roof trusses in the Ex Hall level.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fire riser has been installed in the mechanical room. Remaining slab pour was completed on Monday at the West Boardroom. The remaining mezzanine deck was poured. Asphalt waterproofing membrane will finish today on this deck with a topping slab to be placed afterward. The barrier wall up on the loading dock level was formed and poured at the staging area. Stair 151 stairs have been installed. Waiting on the railings to be delivered and then installed. Pour for these stairs has been completed, as well as the roof machine room for the freight elevator.

Work in Existing Ex-Hall/Concessions/Promenade Areas – Apollo has nearly completed the demo and replacement of main ductwork at the East end of the Ex Hall. This should be completed by the end of today. Garco's demo in Concession area A is ongoing. The overhead coiling door was removed Monday, and masonry infill is taking place. Garco and PCI have installed the pony walls as well as the decking for the new slab pour. Structural steel has also been installed and decking will be placed over top today. Slab pour will take place next Wednesday. The glazing and curtain wall have been removed, and PCI finished framing permanent wall along this area.

All of the track for the operable walls will be complete by tomorrow. Curtain wall framing on the custom truss is almost complete. This should be done around Monday and glass will begin showing up in September. Slab pour for the upper overlook riverside area was poured yesterday. The lower level overlook mesh is being installed today and the pour for this area will occur Monday. The radius footing wall was formed and also poured yesterday. Fireproofing is ongoing on the roof trusses in the Ex Hall level. This should be completed by mid next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fire riser has been installed in the mechanical room. Rebar is being installed and remaining slab pour will occur on Monday at the West Boardroom. The remaining mezzanine deck was poured. Asphalt waterproofing membrane will start up again Monday on this deck with a topping slab to be placed afterward. Close-up of the walls will hopefully be in the next week and half. Curtain wall framing has been installed along the North side of the meeting rooms. Glass will be arriving around September 1st. Ceiling Rough-In for the upper level meeting rooms is complete. Fireproofing of the deck and beams at the high roof has been completed. Wall framing will begin today. The curtain wall curbs were formed and poured along the east side of the green roof yesterday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Ceiling Isolation hangers and hat track has been installed for the plywood/gyp ceiling in the ballroom. Electrical conduits and wire are being pulled in the ceiling. The track for the operable walls has been installed in the ballroom. Curtain wall framing on the custom truss is still ongoing. This should be done in the next week and a half and glass will begin showing up tentatively in early September. Slab pour for portion of slab at the escalators was completed. Remaining portion of slab will follow the completion of the radius footing. The upper overlook steel has been completed. Also, the decking and studs have been shot. The mesh will follow along with the pour next Wednesday. The lower overlook steel is almost complete and decking/studs will follow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Fire riser has been installed in the mechanical room. Inspection is taking place today. Rebar and remaining slab pour will follow. The remaining mezzanine deck was poured Monday. Asphalt waterproofing membrane is ongoing on this deck with a topping slab to hopefully be placed by 8-27-14. Asphalt waterproofing membrane was installed on the upper slab area. The topping slab in this area was poured yesterday. Stair 151 work was started a couple days ago and installation is ongoing.

Electrical cable trays and wire will follow. Fireproofing in Sector C is complete. Intumescent painting on the custom truss is finished and has been inspected. Finish painting has also been completed. Curtain wall framing is ongoing. The temporary wall in the Riverside hall is taped and painted.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Concrete slab-on-grade connecting the ballroom to Sector D BOH slab was poured. The remaining slab will be poured when the fire riser is installed. The remaining structural steel for the mezzanine deck was installed Monday. Decking and studs are being installed now. Pour for this deck will be next Monday. Asphalt waterproofing membrane is being installed on the upper slab area. The topping slab in this area will be poured Wednesday.

Ceiling Rough-In for the upper level meeting rooms is complete. Fireproofing will begin on Tuesday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Ceiling Isolation hangers and hat track is being installed for the plywood ceiling in the ballroom. Fireproofing in Sector C is almost complete. Intumescent painting on the custom truss is being finished up and has been inspected. Finish painting started today and will last approximately a week. Curtain wall framing will follow. The concrete floor for the mechanical mezzanine in sector C was poured Friday. Mechanical layout has begun. The support steel and the generator at the riverside roof were installed last week. The temporary wall in the Riverside hall is being taped and will be painted Monday.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Concrete slab-on-grade connecting the ballroom to Sector D BOH slab, was poured Tuesday. The remaining slab will be poured when the fire riser is installed. Excavation and pour for the remaining footing was completed Tuesday. Forming for the remaining buttress walls will be complete by tomorrow. The pour for the wall will occur tomorrow as well.

– The remaining work at the Double Tree entrance has been placed on hold until a resolution is in place between SPFD and the Double Tree. Overlook railing for the 3 river overlooks has been laid out. Garco has removed hand railing at stormwater outlet and the concrete has been cut. Pour for the overlooks will occur tomorrow. Layout and utility locate for the stormwater system near the back of house areas is complete. Stone Creek will be on site Monday to begin this work.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Fireproofing in the lower level meeting room area is complete. Wall framing and ceiling rough in for electrical/mechanical trades is ongoing. Krueger has loaded materials on the high roof in this area and will begin insulation install today. Curtain wall framing is being installed along the North side of the building. Ceiling rough in for the operable partition, mechanical hangers and fire sprinklers is ongoing at the 2nd level meeting rooms. Fireproofing will take place once the roof is complete.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Ceiling clips for the mechanical/electrical and operable partitions are being installed in the B3-B7 ballroom area. Fireproofing is also nearly complete in this area. Fireproofing in the ballroom (B10-B7) has been completed and framing and drywall is in progress. Clips for the curtain wall and motorized shades have been installed on the custom truss and intumescent paint is ongoing. Finish painting will begin today or tomorrow. The install of the structural steel at the eyebrow roof at the existing mechanical mezzanine is complete. Decking is being installed. Support steel for the new generator at the riverside roof is being installed today. Generator should be set this afternoon. The temp wall at the existing Riverside will be framed and sheeted by Friday. Taping will begin today. Riverside area will be cleaned up by end of day Friday for events. Finish taping/painting will continue Wednesday when events are moved out. Ceiling grid in Riverside hall has been removed.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Shoring has been removed under the loading dock section in this sector. The ramp at the ground floor was poured yesterday. Excavation and forming for the remaining buttress foundations and walls has begun. Remaining slab in sector D will be poured when these walls are complete.

Krueger will be moving over to the Sector A high roof mid week next week to start insulation/roofing. Sloped portion of future stair at the west end of Sector A was poured yesterday. Footing drain is being installed and backfill will begin for the start of the stair concrete.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Ceiling clips for the mechanical/electrical and operable partitions are being installed in the B3-B7 ballroom area. Fireproofing is also being installed in this area. Fireproofing in the ballroom (B10-B7) has been completed and framing and drywall has started back up. Clips for the curtain wall and motorized shades have been installed on the custom truss and intumescent paint has begun. Finish painting will begin late next week. The remainder of the steel for the sector C high roof has been installed as well as the decking. Parapet framing is being completed to allow the roofers to finish up. The remaining bolts for the custom truss along the Riverside area have been installed and the shoring is being removed. The install of the structural steel at the eyebrow roof at the existing mechanical mezzanine will start this afternoon. Support steel for the new electrical generator on the riverside roof will be on site next week. The generator is shipping the 18th of this month.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – The upper slab in sector D was poured yesterday. Shoring removal will begin next week. Slab on grade for sector D was placed Tuesday. Mechanical units and exhaust fans have been moved back in this area. The remaining pour for the ramp will take place as soon as possible. Remaining foundation and walls for the buttresses will start to be excavated/formed starting today or Monday. Security office CMU should be complete by mid next week.

Site Work/Utilities
– The irrigation and plantings for the bed along Spokane Falls Blvd. will be complete today. The remaining work at the Double Tree entrance has been placed on hold until a resolution is in place between SPFD and the Double Tree. Land Expressions is going to lay out the overlook railings today and Garco will begin forming for concrete next week.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – The slab on grade for the lower meeting room area has been poured and rough in for ceiling hung materials is being completed. Fireproofing will begin next week in this area. The electrical rough in and reinforcing steel for the upper meeting room slab is being completed. This will pour 7-14-14 at 6 am due to the high temperatures.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The concrete stairs and landings have been poured for stair 323 and the stair is now available for use. The shoring for the ground level parking area has been removed. The fencing will remain until the storm drain work and re-paving has been completed. The 2nd slab on grade pour for the ballroom (B7-B3) was completed yesterday. Ceiling rough in for the operable partitions and steel stud wall track will begin Monday. Fireproofing will follow. Fireproofing in the ballroom (B10-B7) is being installed and should be complete in this area by tomorrow. Clips for the curtain wall and motorized shades are being installed on the Ex Hall custom truss. Prep for intumestent paint is ongoing and the painting will begin next week. The last 2 roof trusses for the Ex hall roof are being installed and decking will follow. Krueger is working on PVC roofing at the Ex Hall high roof. This work should be complete in the next week and a half. The remaining bolts for the custom truss along the Riverside area are being installed. Once the bolts are complete, the shoring can be removed (next week).

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Reinforcing steel for the upper slab in sector D is being placed and the concrete pour for this area will take place 7-16-14 at 6 AM. Slab on grade for sector D will be placed 7-15-14 at 6 AM. Remaining foundation and walls for the buttresses will be placed once the mechanical units are moved back in this area. Excavation should begin late next week.

Site Work/Utilities
– The irrigation at the plaza is up and running. Land Expressions has completed plantings and irrigation at the planter boxes at Washington Street, King Cole bridge and the landscape areas at the sawtooth area. Fencing will remain in this area through the holiday weekend. Benches will ship on or before July 21. Baldwin Signs has installed the entry sign foundation. The remaining work at the Double Tree entrance has been placed on hold until a resolution is in place between SPFD and the Double Tree.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – The slab on grade for the lower meeting rooms was poured yesterday. Rough-in for ceiling hung materials will begin Monday. Fireproofing will follow. The transition wall between the green roof and 2nd level meeting rooms has been poured and stripped. Electrical and Plumbing for the upper meeting room slab on deck has begun. Our pour date for this area has been set on 7-14-14

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The concrete for Stair 323 stairs and landings will be poured Monday. The stair will be available for use on Tuesday. Shoring has been removed in the parking garage (mezzanine level) and this area will be cleaned up and available for use this weekend. Underground plumbing and sub grade electrical has been completed from B7 to B3 and subgrade gravel/vapor barrier and rebar is being installed. This pour will take place 7-9-14. PCI has begun framing the ballroom walls on the east end of the slab. Garco and subs have begin to install clips, pick points and hangers for anything that needs to hang off the structure. Fireproofing is starting on Monday in this area. Marlin has laid out their clips on the large custom truss. Clips will begin to be installed today. The angle for the motorized shades will follow clip installation. Masonry along AD line in the back of house area is almost complete. The slide bearing beams along grids 44 and 46 & 48 have been installed. Top chord of the custom truss at the Riverside hall will be delivered today. Once the truss is complete, the remaining roof steel and decking can be installed in sector C.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Shoring and decking for the upper slab in Sector D is ongoing. Shear studs are being installed and rebar will follow. This pour will take place on 7-16-14. Spilker is working on the mezzanine level CMU and will move back up to the security office on Monday to begin scaffold installation and complete the CMU for the elevator/security room and freight elevator stair.

Land Expressions has installed the irrigation and plants in the 2 planter boxes at King Cole Bridge and working on the Washington St. Bridge planter. Plants are being installed at the sawtooth area and irrigation and mulch will follow. This area will be complete by July 4. Baldwin Signs is installing the sign base foundations today. The remaining work at the Double Tree entrance has been pushed back to starting the week of July 8 to accommodate July 4th weekend activities.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Sector A Green Roof Terrace was poured Wednesday. Garco will begin forming the wall that transitions up to the upper meeting room area this week. Once that wall is formed and poured, we can pour the upper meeting room slab. The slab on grade prep in the lower meeting room area is ongoing. Slab pour is set for next Wednesday for the whole lower area.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The lower slab for stair 323 was poured Wednesday. The remaining stair section will be installed next week and stairs will be poured and available for use. Roofing install for the high roof area in the exhibit hall sector C will begin next week. PCI has finished framing the exterior soffit along the green roof. Underground plumbing and sub grade electrical is being worked on in the ballroom area (grid B7 to B3). This will be the area of our next slab pour. PCI is beginning layout for the ballroom walls on the east end of the slab. Framing will begin next week. Garco and subs will begin to install clips, pick points and hangers for anything that needs to hang off the structure. Once these clips are installed, the fireproofing can take place. The curb for the curtain wall up on the green roof slab has been poured. Marlin Windows is laying out their clips on the custom truss and will install late next week. Intumescent paint on the truss will follow the clip installation. Masonry along AD line in the back of house area is ongoing. Structural steel for the Riverside Hall Custom Truss is being installed. The slide bearing beams for the tie in points at the Riverside Hall will begin showing up on Monday.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Shoring and decking for the upper slab in Sector D is ongoing. Once deck is installed, shear studs will be shot and reinforcing installed. Spilker has moved up to the mezzanine in Sector D to begin masonry install. Masonry block for the security office/freight elevator and stair core has begun but will hold off through next week because the scaffolding they want to set up will impede the drive way on the loading dock. They will set up after the event finishes starting July 8.

Site Work/Utilities
– Energized Electric finished up the rough in of the site lighting and pole bases at the sawtooth area. Land Expressions has placed topsoil in the sawtooth area and is working on temporary irrigation at the King Cole Bridge Planters. They have also replaced the pine trees along the riverbank and will be replacing the remaining dead plants today. Plants are coming for the sawtooth area and King Cole/Washington St. planters on the 25th. These areas will be complete by the July 4 holiday.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Weld studs have been installed on the sector A meeting room green roof and upper meeting room area. Roof Drain and electrical rough in will start next week as well as reinforcing steel install. Slab on grade prep will begin in the meeting room area Monday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stair 323 has been completely installed with the exception of the lower stair run. Garco is going to pour the floor in the bottom of the stair core and then the last portion of the stair can be installed. Roofing install for the high roof area in the exhibit hall sector C will begin next week. PCI is finishing up the soffit framing along the sector C green roof area. Shoring has been removed under the entire portion of the exhibit hall. Underground plumbing and sub grade electrical has been complete in the area of the first slab on grade pour (6' east of B10 to B7 and back of house to ballroom pre-func area). Subgrading for slab has begun and reinforcing steel to follow. This area will pour next Wednesday. The curb for the curtain wall on the Ex-Hall will be poured tomorrow. This will allow Marlin to lay out their clips on the large custom truss. Intumescent fireproofing to follow. Masonry along AD line has been brought up 4' for Garco to install dampproofing and backfill. Once the backfill is complete, Spilker will finish the walls to deck. Structural steel for the Riverside Hall Custom Truss is arriving on site and is beginning to be installed. Slide bearing pieces will be on site in the next couple weeks for installation into the Riverside Hall D.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – The structural slab on the mezzanine deck was poured yesterday. Shoring for the upper deck has begun. Form decking and weld studs can be installed when the shoring is complete. Spilker is finishing up the remaining masonry in Sector D/E. Masonry block for the security office/freight elevator and stair core is going to be delivered Monday. Reinforcing steel to follow.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stair 323 landing angles are installed. Stairs will begin to be delivered and installed starting today. Structural steel for the remaining high roof of sector C will be complete by mid week next week. Decking will follow. PCI has framed the end wall at the Exhibit hall level and is currently installing the sheathing. Final structural slab pour for the Ex-Hall is taking place this morning from grids B5 to B0. Shoring removal will start approximately 5-6 days after pour, or when concrete strength has reached. Underground plumbing and electrical utilities are being installed between B8 and B5 lines. Remaining underground to be installed when shoring is removed next week. The curb for the curtain wall on the Ex-Hall will be poured next week. Masonry along AD line is being brought up 4' for Garco to install dampproofing and backfill. PCI is installing soffit along green roof area. Mackin and Little is installing roof drains on the high roof area.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Slab on grade in the back of house is poured into sector D. Garco is installing door frames in the back of house area in preparation for Spilker to move back and install masonry. The remaining structural steel in Sector D will be installed when the retaining wall is completed.

Site Work/Utilities
– Garco has poured the retaining wall revision that softens up the corner on the Centennial Trail. Land Expressions will have plants for the sawtooth area as well as riverbank replacement plants by the end of this week and be back on site next week to install. Energized Electric is working along the Centennial trail on the site lighting underground and getting the light pole bases installed.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Steel decking and fall protection anchors for the green roof area in sector A will be complete next week along with the high roof area. Spilker Masonry is finishing up the masonry wall along grid AD in the meeting room area. Elevator #2 was topped off last week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Layout and install of the steel stair system for stair 323 started Monday and is ongoing. Structural steel for the remaining high roof of sector C will be complete by mid week next week. Decking will follow. PCI has framed the end wall at the Exhibit hall level and is currently installing the sheathing. Decking is complete on the Exhibit Hall Level floor for our final structural slab pour between grids B5 and B0. Shear studs, reinforcing steel and electrical conduit/boxes will follow next week. Our goal is to pour this next Thursday. The deeper portion of the ballroom underground electrical East of grid B8 has been installed. The remaining electrical underground will be installed when the shoring is pulled from the upper slab area. The green roof portion of sector C was poured yesterday. Approximately 190 CY. Masonry footing along grid AD on the West end of Sector C is being poured today.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Finish grading for the slab on grade coming north out of sector E is ongoing. Garco is installing door frames in the back of house area in preparation for Spilker to move back and install masonry. The remaining structural steel in Sector D will be installed when the retaining wall is completed.

Site Work/Utilities
– Land Expressions has grubbed out the sawtooth area and Garco poured the concrete pads this morning. Land Expressions will return Monday to finish out plantings and landscaping in this area. Energized Electric is working along the Centennial trail on the site lighting underground and getting the light pole bases installed.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Sector A retaining wall was poured Monday and has been stripped. Steel decking and closure angle install will begin tomorrow on the floor and roof areas. Spilker Masonry has grouted up 3 courses of block on the sector A wall on grid AD. This wall should be completed by Monday or Tuesday next week. The final 15'3" pour for elevator #2 will take place tomorrow.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Garco is working on stripping the interior form work for Stair 323 so we can begin layout and install of the steel stair. Structural steel for the remaining high roof of sector C will be complete by mid week next week. Decking will follow. PCI is currently installing the end wall off of grid B11 on the Exhibit Hall level. They should be complete with the framing Monday. They are also working on the high roof parapet framing. Decking is going to start being installed from B5 to B1 Saturday preparing for our next structural slab pour to grid B0. Ballroom underground electrical should be able to start tomorrow or Monday depending on the remaining shoring being removed from the 2nd upper slab pour area (grids B8-B5). Decking for the green roof area of sector C will be finished up by Saturday. Install for the fall protection anchors, ceiling isolation hangers, roof drains and reinforcing steel will follow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Finish grading for the slab on grade coming north out of sector E will take place next week. Spilker is continuing to install masonry up to the deck in Sector D. They will be moving back to Sector E following the completion of D. Stair Core walls for the stair at the freight elevator have been poured and slab above will be cut out tomorrow. Structural steel for Sector D is ongoing as plates are being installed on the retaining wall for the beams that connect to it. Mezzanine decking will be complete Saturday.

Site Work/Utilities
– Remaining stormwater and sewer utilities will be completed when elevator shafts and concrete work in Sectors A and B are complete.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Sector A retaining wall was poured Monday and has been stripped. Structural steel for sector A is almost hung out. Decking and closure angle has been delivered and will start Tuesday. Once decking is complete the remaining underground utilities can be installed in sector A. Spilker Masonry is working on finishing up the masonry wall on grid AD line. The first pour for elevator #2 shear walls (30') was completed last Friday. We are working on forming the remaining 15'3".

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The final pour for the stair tower took place Tuesday. We are currently stripping the forms getting it ready to tie in the roof steel tomorrow. Once fully stripped, we will begin layout and install of the stair structure inside. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The remaining steel for the green roof portion will be on site tomorrow. The remaining steel in this area is contingent on the completion of the stair core. PCI is going to begin install of the endwall at the Exhibit Hall along grid B11 as well as the parapet framing on the high roof. The 2nd structural slab pour was completed this morning from grids B8 to B5 in the Exhibit Hall. Decking is going to start being installed from B5 to B1 next week to begin preparing for our next pour. Decking for the green roof area of sector C will start to be installed Friday morning.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – The first section of slab on grade in the back of sector E was poured Tuesday. Spilker is continuing to install masonry up to the deck in Sector D. They will be moving back to Sector E following the completion of D. Stair Core walls at the freight elevator are formed and will be poured tomorrow. Structural steel for Sector D is going up. Decking is being installed on the mezzanine area and roof structure is also being installed.

Structural steel for sector A is ongoing and decking is being delivered on Monday for this area. Spilker Masonry will be back on site Monday to finish up the masonry wall in sector A.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – The 2nd pour for the new stair core (24') is taking place today. The remaining 13' will be formed and poured in the next week and a half. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The remaining steel for the green roof portion will be on site tomorrow. The remaining steel in this area is contingent on the completion of the stair core. The first structural slab pour for the Exhibit Hall (grids 11 to 8) was completed Monday. The second pour is scheduled for next Thursday. (grids 8 to 5). Decking for the green roof area of sector C will be on site Monday. Mackin and Little is currently working on installing the underground roof leaders under the green roof area. Elevator #1 tower was poured out last week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Stair Core walls at the freight elevator are formed and will be poured mid next week. Structural steel for Sector D is going up. Decking will be on site the week of the 26th. Exhaust fans for this area have been ordered and will be on site in mid-July.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Embeds for retaining wall are being installed as well as block outs for HVAC. We are planning on pouring this next Friday. Structural steel for sector A is being erected from grid A1 heading East. We have another crew on site as well as a crane to work on this area.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Forming/rebar and embeds for the 2nd pour (37') of the new stair core is ongoing. We are hoping to pour this within the next week and a half. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The last member for the custom truss at the Exhibition Hall was installed yesterday. Steel install is moving towards Sector B but the completion of the steel in these areas is contingent on the completion of the stair core and elevator #1 core. The first structural slab pour for the Exhibit Hall (grids 11 to 8) has been moved up to Monday the 12th. Decking and rebar for the 2nd pour should be completed next week. Elevator #1 shear wall forming is ongoing for the final 6' lift. Our goal is to pour this lift today or tomorrow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Freight Elevator walls between the slab void were poured yesterday. Footings for the stair walls have been poured and forming is ongoing for the stair walls. We hope to pour the walls next week. Structural steel for Sector D will start arriving on site tomorrow. We will work this area from Sector E out to the North.

– Baker tank filtration system has been removed from the site. Energized Electric will finish up the site lighting underground starting next week. Land Expressions is continuing work on installing the irrigation system along the riverbank. They are also replacing plants that didn't make it through the winter and are going to re-shoot the bank with the seed mix today or tomorrow.


Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Embeds for retaining wall have been released for fabrication and should be on site next week. Escalator pit walls have been backfilled. Demolition of the balcony off of the promenade is complete. Structural steel for sector A will start showing up tomorrow morning and steel erection will begin Monday starting at Grid A1 and moving East.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – First 24' section of the new stair core was poured last Friday. The forming for the 2nd lift has begun and reinforcing steel will be on site next week. Escalator pit walls have been backfilled. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The steel for the green roof area is going up along with the floor steel for the ex hall. The tie in to the first lift of stair core is also being worked on. Floor decking for Sector C grids B11-B8 is installed and weld studs and isolation anchors are also completed. Reinforcing steel has begun in this area and is expected to last a few days. Our goal is to get this poured around the 14th. Elevator #1 shear wall forming is ongoing for the 2nd lift. Reinforcing steel has been installed along with the embeds. Our goal is to pour the 2nd lift next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Lower slab where the Freight Elevator comes up through has been removed. Freight Elevator walls between the slab void at the ex hall level are being formed and will be poured Monday morning. Footings for the stair walls are being formed and will be poured Monday. Structural steel for Sector D will be arriving on site in approximately 1 week.

After the baker tanks are removed, they can complete this work. Expressions is continuing work on installing the irrigation system along the riverbank.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Forming for retaining wall is ongoing and reinforcing steel has been submitted. Escalator pit walls were poured Monday and bentonite waterproofing will be finished today to allow us to backfill this afternoon. Demolition of the balcony off of the promenade will be complete Monday. This will allow us to dig out the new caisson that was poured and get the anchor bolts in. Structural steel will begin at the West end of sector A towards the middle of next week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – First 24' section of the new stair core will be poured tomorrow. Forming for 2nd lift will start Monday. Escalator pit walls were poured Monday and bentonite waterproofing will be finished today to allow us to backfill this afternoon. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The steel for the green roof area is going up along with the floor steel for the ex hall. Floor decking for Sector C grids B11-B8 is currently being installed. This area will be our first pour. Reinforcing steel will be arriving next week. Elevator #1 shear walls were poured last Friday for the first 30' lift. Garco is currently working on getting forms ready for the 2nd lift. Reinforcing steel for this pour will be on site early next week and embeds are already on site. Bentonite waterproofing for the pit will be completed today to allow us to backfill this area and get our final shoring tower for the custom truss up.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Freight Elevator walls were poured last Thursday and we are currently stripping the forms. Footings for the stair walls are being formed and will be poured next week. Structural steel for Sector D will be arriving on site in approximately 1 ½ weeks.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Riverside demolition is complete. We are currently working on hauling out the remaining concrete that has been demolished.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Forming for new stair core walls is ongoing. Reinforcing steel installation will start today and is expected to last 3-4 days for the first 30' lift. Embed placement will follow and is also expected to last 3-4 days. Our goal is to pour the first 30' by the end of next week. Footing for escalator pit has been poured. Reinforcing steel for walls has been placed and forming for walls needs to be finished. This will pour on Friday or Monday. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. The next section of the custom truss is being set today and roof steel will follow tomorrow. We have deliveries tomorrow for the columns and floor steel for the Ex Hall Green Roof Area. Shoring is up in Sector C and floor decking/closure angle install will begin tomorrow. Our first slab pour area will be between grids B11 and B8. Elevator #1 shear walls (first 30' lift) are being buttoned up today and will be poured tomorrow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Security office demolition is complete with the exception of the lower slab that will be cut out once the lower walls for the freight elevator are poured today. The completion of the masonry in sector E is contingent on the elevator and remaining stair walls being poured so it can tie in.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Riverside slab and floor beam demolition is ongoing. We hope to have the complete structure down by Tuesday of next week.

– Energized Electric is working on installing conduit for the site lighting along the Centennial Trail. Land Expressions will be starting back up today on the irrigation system for the new riverbank landscaping. Stone Creek will be back on site next week to begin stormwater systems installation. The installation will begin in the back of Sector D and move West towards the stair core and loading dock areas.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Forming for retaining wall is ongoing and reinforcing steel is being detailed. Pile Caps for remaining 2 - 4P micropiles by the West elevator core were poured Tuesday and have been backfilled. Bentonite water proofing has been placed and footing for escalator pit will be poured tomorrow. Walls will be poured next week and backfill will follow.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stair core pile cap has been backfilled and wall forming has begun. The first pour will be at 30'. The reinforcing steel and embeds are on site. Bentonite water proofing has been placed and footing for escalator pit will be poured tomorrow. Walls will be poured next week and backfill will follow. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. Floor beams are being set today and the next section of custom truss will be delivered tomorrow morning along with another delivery of columns for sector B. Micropile cap for the last 3 piles was poured Monday. Demolition above cap will be completed by Monday to allow for column install. Floor decking shoring has begun in Sector C. Decking will be arriving on site Monday at 11:30.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Security office demolition is ongoing and we are looking to have the Freight elevator walls poured by next Wednesday or Thursday. The completion of the masonry in sector E is contingent on the elevator and remaining stair walls being poured so it can tie in.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Elevator pile cap for Meeting Room area elevator was poured Monday. It has been stripped and backfilled. Garco is working on formwork for this area. First lift of masonry has been completed along with dampproofing. Backfill on North side is complete. Forming for retaining wall is ongoing and reinforcing steel is being detailed. Pile Caps for remaining 2 - 4P micropiles by the West elevator core will be formed and poured next week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stair core pile cap has been poured and forming of walls is contingent on the demolition above being completed so the work area below is safe. Wall forming is set to begin Monday. Embeds are being installed and reinforcing steel is being pre-fabbed. Our goal is to pour the first 30' lift next Friday. Structural steel is ongoing in sector C. Cantilevered portion of large truss and roof on the East end is being worked on right now. Once that is complete, roof trusses will be installed from East to West. Remaining 3 micropiles are being grouted today and pile cap will be formed and poured when the demolition allows us to get access to do the work. Shoring for floor decking is set to begin Tuesday with decking following the next Monday. Energized Electric is planning on starting excavation for site lighting by the Centennial trail early next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Security office demolition is on hold until possibly later in the day tomorrow due to Home & Garden show. We have a couple walls to finish knocking down in order for us to complete coring the slab to complete our elevator wall pour below. The completion of the masonry in sector E is contingent on the elevator and remaining stair walls being poured so it can tie in.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Elevator pile cap for Meeting Room area elevator was poured Monday. It has been stripped and backfilled. Garco is working on formwork for this area. Masonry has begun on South side Meeting Room wall. Spilker has brought it up enough for us to backfill. Garco is working on dampproofing in this area. Energized Electric completed their deeper underground work in the Meeting Room area.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stair core pile cap is being poured today. Forming for walls will begin next week. Embeds will be delivered for East Elevator core today. We will begin install for first 30' of shaft. Reinforcing steel will go in early next week. Structural steel has begun going up in Sector C/B. Columns for floor steel on South side of new addition have been set and tie-in steel will be showing up today for the floor. Roof beams and top chord of first section of custom truss will be here tomorrow. Remaining 3 micropiles next to the existing stair core demolition will be drilled next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Shoring of upper slab in Security office is complete and coring of the lower slab is beginning today. Demo of the remaining walls in the security office will need to be complete in order to pour freight elevator. Dampproofing for masonry in Sector E is complete. Backfilling is occurring and masonry will continue when backfilling is finished and scaffold can be set up.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Mechanical mezzanine has been removed and elevator core is halfway down. Concrete slab and beam demolition is starting today.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Garco has set the forms for the elevator pile cap in the Meeting Room area. Bottom mat of reinforcing steel is being set today and top mat is being tied. Concrete will be poured early next week. Mackin and Little has completed all but the subgrade underground plumbing for the Meeting Room area. Subgrade underground will commence after crane has moved out of building footprint. Energized Electric is almost complete with their deeper underground work in the Meeting Room area. Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Crux has completed installing and testing of the 26 micropiles in the new stair core area. Garco has moved in and begun subgrading and working on forming pile cap. Reinforcing steel is on site and will be installed next week. East Elevator core has been poured, stripped and backfilled. Forming for the elevator walls has begun. We are planning on 2 concrete pours for these walls. Shoring for Riverside Hall slab demolition has been placed on the ground floor and parking mezzanine level. This shoring will need to be in place until the new tie in is established and concrete slab ispoured. Underground electrical install has begun in Sector C. The install will be off and on as the structural steel installation begins. Structural steel columns for Sector C will begin to be delivered and installed tomorrow. The floor steel that ties in to the custom truss will begin to be delivered next week and the truss deliveries are scheduled to start at the end of next week. Install will flow from East to West.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Freight Elevator pit walls are currently still in progress. Embeds have been set and reinforcing steel is being installed. We are hoping to pour the walls by the end of next week or early the following week. Security office upper slab demolition is complete. Foam Insulation is being removed and then we will shore and core through the slab below in order to pour our Masonry has begun in Sector E. They will bring the block up just enough for us to backfill and then set scaffold and get back in there to continue to deck.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Mechanical Mezzanine removal in Riverside hall should be complete today. Elevator core removal is ongoing. Once the last beam for the mechanical mezzanine has been removed, we will start slab demolition.

DoubleTree Loading Dock – Garco installed new recessed to help with the compactor loading and pick-up. Platform has also been re-fitted to match compactor.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Crux has completed cutting the micropiles for the West elevator core. We are planning on pouring the east core tomorrow and will utilize the forms on the West core once they are stripped next week. Mackin & Little is finishing up underground plumbing install in this area and will be moving over to work in sector B & C next. Energized Electric has started the deeper underground work in the meeting room area. This work will take approximately one week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Crux has completed the drilling for the 26 micropiles for the new stair core. They are now working on setting the rod and grouting. They should be grouted out and tested by next Wednesday. Reinforcing steel is already fabricated for this area so Garco and Tri-States Rebar will move in after Crux next week to begin forming the pile cap. The top mat of reinforcing steel for the East elevator core is being installed today and the pile cap pour will be tomorrow at 9am. Shoring for Riverside Hall slab demolition will be placed in approximately 1 week in parking area drive lane next to the new stair core demolition. Drive land and approximately 4-6 parking spots will be blocked off while the shoring and demolition is occurring. Underground electrical install has begun in Sector C. The install will be off and on as the structural steel installation begins. Structural steel install for the custom truss and sector C is tentatively scheduled for starting March 31.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Freight Elevator pit walls are currently still in progress. Embeds have been set and reinforcing steel is being installed. We are hoping to pour the walls by the end of next week or early the following week. Security office demolition is ongoing. Interior walls have been taken down and the opening for the freight elevator shaft is being cut today. After the top slab is removed, the filler insulation will be removed and slab will be shored from below for concrete pour and the final removal of the lower slab. Masonry has begun in Sector E. They will bring the block up just enough for us to backfill and then set scaffold and get back in there to continue to deck.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Roof structure for the Riverside Hall Demo has been removed. Steel stairs and concrete shear wall removal is complete along with the glazing removal. We are currently working on starting the demolition of the elevator core. Once the elevator core is removed the demolition will continue with the mechanical mezzanine down to the Riverside Hall slab.

DoubleTree Loading Dock – Garco installed new guide rail at the back of the compactor. We are currently waiting for the compactor to be picked up so we can complete the remaining work on the platform and the face of the compactor pad.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Crux has begun cutting micropiles and installing plates in this area. There are 12 micropiles that need to be cut and this should take approximately a week. After this is complete, Garco will begin forming pile cap. Mackin & Little is working on plumbing installation in the meeting room area. They have a little over a week's worth of work left. Energized Electric will be starting underground install in this area late next week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Crux has installed 12 micropiles out of the 26 in the new stair core area. Access has been a bit of an issue for them and has slowed progress a bit. They estimate another week and a half in this area to complete the piles. Crux has also completed the cutting and plate install on the East elevator pit. Garco is currently working on forming up pile cap rebar placement should begin next week. 10 Micropile cap for large truss was poured Friday and stripped this week. Shoring for Riverside Hall slab demolition will be placed in approximately 1 week in parking area drive lane next to the new stair core demolition. Drive land and approximately 4-6 parking spots will be blocked off while the shoring and demolition is occurring.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Forming for the elevator pit walls are almost complete, reinforcing steel will be delivered this week and embed layout is ongoing. Demolition of the existing security structure has begun. CMU walls are almost demolished and slab has been cut. Slab demo should start tomorrow. This demo needs to happen before any concrete can be poured for the walls. Masonry precon will take place Monday morning for walls sector D and E. Our plan is to have them start mid-week in the back of sector E with a 4' lift so we can come in and get the area backfilled so they can set up their scaffold and take the masonry up to the full height. Sector D pad footings were poured Friday and stripped this week. Backfill is on going.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Bracing in Exhibit Hall A was competed yesterday. Stairs and landings are currently being demolished and roof structure demolition has begun today.

DoubleTree Loading Dock – Garco is currently working on installing a new larger angle stop at the end of the trash compactor pad. We will also re-configure the platform to ensure it is lined up correctly with the compactor. We meet with Waste Management to get the dimensions for the cut out that we will put in the front of the pad to allow for easier access when the truck drops of the compactor.

SAFETY
With new equipment (cranes, trucks, loaders, etc.) showing up on site and the congestion it creates, extra caution is to be used when navigating around the site. Make sure eye contact is made with any operators close to you before you try to navigate past them.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Crux has finished drilling and grouting micropiles for the elevator core in this area. They will be cutting piles and installing plates next week and then Garco will follow with pile cap. Mackin & Little has begun underground plumbing installation in the Meeting Room area. This should last a couple weeks (weather dependent). Energized Electric is looking to begin underground in the Meeting Room in approximately a week and a half.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Demolition at parking mezzanine is complete and excavated out for Crux to begin micropile installation today. This will take approximately 2 weeks. Crux will be cutting micropiles and installing plates tomorrow and next week on the elevator core in this area. 10 Micropile cap for large truss is being poured today. Shoring for Riverside Hall slab demolition will be placed in approximately 2 weeks in parking area drive lane next to the new stair core demolition. Drive lane and approximately 4 -6 parking spots will be blocked off while the shoring and demolition is occurring.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Forming for the elevator pit walls are almost complete, reinforcing steel and embeds will be placed next week. Demolition of the existing security room slab and structure will begin next week. This demo needs to happen before any concrete can be poured for the walls. Masonry submittals have been returned and Masonry for sector E Back of House walls should begin next week sometime so we can get that area backfilled. Sector D pad footings will be poured today and stripped next week.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Temp wall install in Riverside hall was completed last Friday. Temp wall with weatherproofing was installed Saturday. Roof and wall demolition has begun and structural demolition will follow once the temporary bracing installation is complete in Ex Hall A early next week.

Security Office – Temporary walls around security office have been completed. Security Office slab and structure demolition will start next week.

Crux has finished drilling and grouting micropiles in the elevator core. Load test will occur tomorrow at 10am. Garco will begin excavation down to bottom of pile cap next week. Masonry footings along RA line have been backfilled.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Continuous footing from Back of House area to ballroom was poured Tuesday along with slab for freight elevator pit. Masonry submittals are in review and pre-con will be late next week. Install should begin the week after. Sector D pad footings are being excavated, compacted, and formed. Rebar, anchor bolts will be set next week and footings will be poured.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Demolition is continuing in this area. Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Sprinkler demolition is complete. Temp wall install in Riverside hall will be complete Friday afternoon. Taping and sanding are finishing up today and painting will be done tomorrow. Temp wall with weatherproofing is being installed on the North side of the operable wall soffit. Once all temp walls are in place and existing areas to remain operational are protected from the outside elements, roof and structural demolition will begin.

Security Office – Temp wall around former existing security office will be complete tomorrow.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Garco is continuing to backfill pile caps along BE gridline. Crux is finishing up drilling micropiles in the East elevator core. Rod installation and grout will follow drilling. Pile cap for BC/B10 line was poured Friday and has been backfilled. Masonry footings along grid RA line were poured Tuesday. Stripping and backfill will occur in the next couple days.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Continuous footing from Back of House area to ballroom was poured Tuesday along with slab for freight elevator pit. Reinforcing steel & embeds for pit are being detailed now. Forming for the walls will begin next week. Sector D pad footings have been designed and we will begin layout and excavating next week.

Loading Dock Construction – Loading Dock bumpers were installed yesterday.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Demolition is continuing in this area. Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Sprinkler demolition is almost complete. Garco has pulled metal siding off of the exterior of the stairwell and elevator area. Garco will need to be in Riverside Hall next week to build a temporary wall to block off the area where the roof is going to be demolished/shored. This work will be complete by the end of day Friday. Once this wall is up, we will move wall that is already in place over to the operable wall.

Security Office – Garco is going to frame up a temporary wall around the existing security office that is to be demolished. This wall will close off the man doors to the East and West of the office as well as part of the loading dock bay.

Garco is continuing to work on micropile caps for the BE gridline have been poured. They are currently being stripped. Backfill should occur next week. Elevator core has been excavated and micropiles will start next week. Pile cap for BC/B10 line has been formed and reinforcing steel has been placed. We are planning on pouring this cap tomorrow.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Bentonite Waterproofing has been placed in elevator pit area. Reinforcing steel will be placed for slab, pour will occur next week. Continuous footing will be poured next week.

Loading Dock Construction – Loading dock apron was placed last week. Dock bumpers have been ordered and will be installed next week. Dock is open for use.


Demolition in Riverside Hall
– Demolition is continuing in this area. Fire sprinkler demo will continue tomorrow. Mechanical demolition will begin Monday and last a couple days. Exterior panel demolition will begin next week. Shoring for soffit in Exhibit Hall A will begin Saturday if possible. Soffit will need to be shored in order for roof demolition to take place.

SAFETY
Security fencing and caution tape is being used in areas where open trenches pose a danger. Yellow tape represents the potential for a hazard and red tape means there is a danger and do not enter without permission. Now that demolition has begun in the existing building, precautions have been taken at all of the entrances into the part of the building that is being demolished. Signage and red tape are at each entrance to ensure the safety of employees or visitors to the Convention Center. With the opening of the loading dock on Saturday. Fencing will be re-positioned in order to maintain the safety of the Double Tree/Convention Center Employees as well as the general public.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – AD line pad footings and continuous footing have been poured just short of the future elevator location because of micropiles that are going to be starting next week. Footings will be stripped Saturday. Battered pile cap by the conexes was poured yesterday and will be stripped tomorrow and backfilled to allow access to the loading dock when it is re-opened Saturday.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Stem wall on BA line was poured Tuesday. Forms have been stripped and rigid insulation/dampproofing has been installed. Backfill will occur when snow has melted. Garco is continuing to work on micropile caps for the BE gridline. Plates have been welded on the top of the micropiles, rebar is being set and caps will be poured shortly. Remaining micropiles on B10/BC line are complete. Excavation for pile cap and grade beam is continuing today. Forming will start next week.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Elevator walls are being detailed (rebar). Bentonite waterproofing will be installed below the elevator pit next week.

Loading Dock Construction – Guardrail has been installed, compactor is back in place and power is being run to the controls. Bollard and pour back around the dock will be completed tomorrow. Loading dock will be turned over Saturday morning.

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Dampproofing has been installed on north side of stem wall on AA line. NREC Inspector was on site yesterday to look at the rigid insulation installed on the South side of the stem wall. Backfill of this wall is occurring today and tomorrow. Retaining wall footing excavation on west end of the building will start next week. Remaining pad footings will be dug and installed when loading dock is complete.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Pad & continuous footings along BA gridline were poured Tuesday. Stem wall forming will start tomorrow and wall will be poured next week. Excavation for footings along RA line is taking place and forming will begin next week. Micropile installation is progressing down BE gridline. Garco is finishing up excavating first batch of micropiles on BE grid line. Pile caps have been pre-formed and compaction and placement will take place next week. Remaining micropiles on B10/BC line will be finished by next week. Garco will then excavate for pile cap.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Continuous footing in back of house leading to the freight elevator has been formed ad rebar has been placed. Footing will be poured next week with the remaining 3 Caissons. Energized Electric has finished their demo/salvage work in the security office where the freight elevator shaft is coming up through. They have temporarily moved the switch for the outside gate to the exterior of the security office as discussed with Dave (SPFD). Garco will be in the security office tomorrow cutting the floor to explore where the 2 existing beams are located to get our pit laid out below.

Loading Dock Construction – Loading dock walls were poured last Friday and the wall has cured enough for us to backfill and compact today. Rebar will be placed tomorrow and slab will be poured Monday. Guardrail measurements will take place today and material will be fabricated next week.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Continuous stem wall has been poured and stripped. Rigid insulation has been installed on slab side and damp proofing will be installed Monday so we can get backfilled. Remaining footings will have to wait to be installed until the loading dock construction is complete.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Pad & continuous footings along BA gridline are formed. Reinforcing steel will start to be installed this afternoon and finished tomorrow along with anchor bolts. Pour will occur Monday. Excavation for footings along RA line is taking place and forming will begin next week. Micropile installation is progressing down BE gridline. Once BE grid drilling is complete, they will move to the elevator core on B0 grid. Garco to begin excavating for pile caps along Grid BE on Saturday. Load test for micropile on B10/BC grid was successful. There are 8 micropiles that will be installed in that area now that test was performed.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Continuous footing in back of house leading to the freight elevator has been formed. We are awaiting rebar placement. We are also waiting to lay out the elevator until the security office up above is finished being demoed by the electrician. After the electrician is done in that area, we have to cut the floor open to determine the location of a couple beams between the two slabs. Once that is determined, we can layout the elevator foundation on the ground floor.

Loading Dock Construction – Footings for the new loading dock were poured yesterday and walls are currently being formed and our intent is to pour tomorrow. This will give the weekend for cure time and allow us to backfill next week and get the slab formed up.

FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – Pad footings and continuous footings along AA/AB/AC (partial) grid line have been poured. Continuous stem wall along grid AA is formed and will be poured tomorrow. Remaining pad footings and continuous footings will be formed/poured after the loading dock construction is complete.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – Pad & continuous footings along BA gridline are being formed. They will be poured next week. Micropile installation is progressing down BE gridline. Once BE grid drilling is complete, they will move to the elevator core on B0 grid. Load test for micropile on B10/BC grid will be performed early next week. After load test is done, the remainder of the micropiles on B10 line can be drilled.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Casing has been placed in the caissons along the existing Exhibition Hall. They are currently being vacuumed out and inspected by strata before we place reinforcing steel. Our intent is to pour these caissons next week.

Loading Dock Construction – Garco is currently finishing demolition of the loading dock. 36" Caisson has been drilled and cleaned out. We hope to pour the caisson tomorrow so we can form the footings for the new loading dock walls next week. Conexes have been moved in order for Budinger to drill micropiles next week.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Land Expressions has de mobilized for the winter. Garco will keep up silt & safety fencing throughout the winter.


FOUNDATION INSTALL

Sector A (Meeting Rooms) – First concrete pour to take place tomorrow at 11AM. This is along Grid AA (north perimeter of bldg.). Remaining spread footings that are available in this area are being excavated, compacted and formed. Goal is to have them poured next week.

Sector B & C (Exhibit Hall/Ballroom) – These foundations were just released yesterday. We are working on layout and asphalt demo/excavation. Micropiles are also starting to be drilled in this area tomorrow. Test pile was drilled earlier this week and load test will occur Monday.

Sector D & E (Back of House/Storage Area) – Forming has begun today on the strip footing in the back of house area. Rock is being cleaned off in service elevator area for inspection and forming of pit. Caissons are being cleaned out/inspected and casing/rebar will be set soon.

Loading Dock Construction – Garco was given the go ahead yesterday for the loading dock work. Temp fencing and demolition is starting today. Garco will coordinate closely with the Double Tree to ensure we have minimal impact on their operations.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Restoration has been completed for the season. Hydro seeding took place yesterday. Fencing is in place to protect the landscape for the winter season.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Water line flushing is complete and water service has been turned on by the city.

Foundation Procurement – Sector A footing design has been completed and spread footings in Sector A are being dug and compacted. Footing boxes are being built. Frozen ground is slowing this operation but we will have ground thaw on site to help with this effort. Forming in Sector E will be starting this afternoon/tomorrow. Rebar is currently being detailed.

Geotechnical Information – Budinger has completed their geotech reports and DCI is finalizing foundation drawings for the remaining sectors.

Loading Dock Construction – Garco is awaiting the go ahead from the SPFD and Double Tree Hotel to start this work.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Restoration is finishing up this week with plantings/cleanup and demobilization. Seeding will take place when the temperatures come back up. They are tentatively scheduled for next week.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Water tie-in and fire hydrant relocation has been completed. The water line is being flushed out today and should have final inspection today or tomorrow.

Stormwater Prevention – Stormwater prevention system has been commissioned and is ready for use.

Building Survey – Caisson/Micropile locations have been laid out and layout on sectors D and E for footings and foundations should be complete by the end of the week.

Foundation Procurement – Continuous footings back in sector E are currently being excavated as well as chipping the rock down at the service elevator pit. Forming should start next week. Caissons have been drilled in sector D next to the exhibit hall. Concrete and rebar will be placed next week. Continuous grade beam excavation will begin next week at the West end meeting rooms.

Loading Dock Construction – Trash compactor has been taken into storage by Waste Management and temporary trash bins have been brought in to service the Double Tree while the loading dock construction is taking place. We are hoping to start demolition and construction of the loading dock next week.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Restoration is progressing with plantings and topsoil down towards the East end of the Centennial Trail. Land Expressions is hoping to continue work after the trail opens so they can finish up the restoration before the end of the year (weather permitting).

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Sewer line has been diverted to flow through the new line down the Centennial Trail. Existing sewer line running East to West along the Convention Center has been decommissioned and will be grouted and abandoned. Water tie-in is taking place today. The City of Spokane will be on site to re-locate fire hydrant to the west side of the site and will perform tie-in at water vault.

Stormwater Prevention – Water Techtonics has been on site the last couple days commissioning the water filtration system and should be done today.

Building Survey – Caisson/Micropile locations have been laid out and layout on sectors D and E for footings and foundations should be complete by the end of the week.

Foundation Procurement – Garco will begin footing/foundation/elevator pit install in the parking garage sectors D & E next week. Drilling of caissons will begin next week on the west side of the project while the data and design on the East side finishes up. Once the East side design is completed we will start drilling in the Exhibit hall areas.

Loading Dock Construction – Once the existing fire hydrant is re-located today and line is decommissioned, we will be able to widen the road down towards the loading dock to aid trucks in getting positioned for deliveries when existing conex trailers are re-positioned to their final locations. Re-location of trash compactor will occur next week and temporary dumpsters will be brought in to serve the needs of the Double Tree while the construction is taking place.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – First 500' section continues to progress as soil lifts and plantings have begun. They are currently working from east to west with the plantings and topsoil. Foundations for art railing have been set and should be poured soon.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Sewer and water utility installation has been completed in the area of the Centennial Trail. Stone Creek was on site late Friday night and all day Saturday finishing up the tie-in at the East end under the bridge and grading out for paving. The excavation under the bridge took longer than expected due to running into unforeseen bridge foundations. Sewer and water systems were flushed out and pressure tested/camera tested and both passed. Stone Creek is finishing up with the water tie-in at the West end of the site and hauling off the rest of the contaminated soil pile.

Stormwater Prevention – Stone Creek is finishing up extending water line through stormwater swale. We should be able to place liner by the end of the week and Water Techtonics is scheduled to come back next week to commission system.

Centennial Trail – Inland Asphalt was on site Monday through yesterday finish grading and paving the Centennial Trail. A 2" lift of asphalt was applied to the trail to get through the winter and the final 2" will be applied next summer/fall when the project is closer to completion.

Building Survey – Existing data has been collected for the parking garage columns and has been put in the building model. The data collected is matching up with what has been drawn for this project so layout of the new gridlines will begin in the next day or so.

Foundation Procurement – Garco will have drill on site Monday to drill a couple test holes for caissons. Once grid is laid out, drilling for caissons and micropiles will begin on East end of project and move West.

SAFETY

Security fencing along the Centennial Trail continues to be maintained as the trail is closed. Safety coordination is taking place with both utility installation and riverbank restoration due to both contractors working in close proximity to eachother. Trench safety is being implemented with the install of the water and sewer lines. Trench box is being used where the install of pipe is occurring.

CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – First 500' section of riverbank has been grubbed out and rip rap is being placed along with erosion fabric at bank edges. Soil lifts and plantings to begin next week.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Sewer and water utility installation has progressed down the centennial trail to just east of the existing storm water line.

Mobilization
– Temp power has been hooked up for construction trailer. Transformer for stormwater filtration system should be installed next week.

Stormwater Prevention – Water filtration system has been delivered and is currently being set up to be commissioned next week once the swale and trench has been lined.

Building Survey
– Coordination for layout of buildings is ongoing and layout is to begin next week.

Foundation Procurement
– Coordination and procurement of micropile and drilled caisson subcontractors to be complete this week.

DESIGN
Foundation permit submittal has been picked up and is in hand.

OLD BUSINESS
Site Lighting – Lighting has been added outside the loading dock area for employee safety concerns after the power was turned off to the exterior light poles to the north of the Double Tree Loading Dock.

Contaminated Soils
– Contaminated soils are currently being hauled out to Graham Rd. facility to be disposed of. Clean fill is being hauled back in for backfilling purposes.

NEW BUSINESS
Centennial Trail Lighting – We are currently looking into how we are going to provide lighting on the centennial trail once it is back open in mid-November.

Loading Dock Coordination Meeting
– Meeting will take place tomorrow with representatives from the Double Tree Hotel regarding the new loading dock construction and coordination on how to keep some areas operational while under construction.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Tree pruning & removal has been completed and Land Expressions is mobilizing down to the site and will begin riverbank restoration this coming Monday.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Utility staking for the Sewer/Water lines has been completed (with the exception of the revised concession area layout). The Centennial trail asphalt has been sawcut and silt fence is going up on the North side of the trail. Plywood protection for the existing medallions will be in place before the digging begins. Piping is arriving on site today and pre-construction meeting for sewer and water install is going to take place this morning at 10 AM.

Mobilization – Temp power has been hooked up for construction trailer. Transformer for stormwater filtration system should be installed next week.

Stormwater Prevention – Retention pond for SWPP plan will be placed when grease trap/sewer line has been installed in the area where it conflicts with the pond. This installation will take place first when the revised layout has been shifted and approved by the PFD.

Landscape and Riverbank Restoration – Tree pruning & removal has begun and is progressing from East to West on the Centennial Trail. Pruning will be completed by early next week.

Sewer and Water Utility Install – Utility staking for the Sewer/Water lines will be completed towards the end of this week or early next week. Stone Creek will be the subcontractor installing the Sewer and Water utilities.

Construction trailer has been mobilized onto site and temporary power connections should be hooked up next week.

Retention pond for SWPP plan is in the process of being mapped out and placed so we can mobilize Baker tanks and water filtration system to the site.
